HIGH FASHION & FIGURE SKATING MEET ON ICE!

The ISU European Figure Skating Championships 2022 is held in Tallinn this year and we are expecting over 160 of the best European figure skaters. It is a blessing to host the oldest competition in sport's and see so much young talent here in Estonia. We might possibly cheer on future Beijing Olympic Games 2022 medal winners. I had the honor to design the dresses for the young figure skaters at the award ceremony.

National symbols have a way of uniting people and reminding us what we stand for and what we have in common. The floral motif is a part of our nation's story and holds our values there for everyone to see. It brings out our national pride and a feeling of celebration which is exactly what we need to show our young skaters on ice - we are here to celebrate you and we are proud of you.

Being part of special projects is often very meaningful and fulfilling on another scale. I'm inspired every day to design for the purpose of helping my clients look and feel their best. If the client is a collaborator or part of a special project like this one, there is often opportunity to support and inspire so many different people I haven't met before. That is heart-warming and it makes me grow as a designer and a human being.
